常熟市江南文化中心

常熟市江南文化艺术中心位于江苏省常熟市主城区东部。在环境设计方面充分考虑本工程地处城市绿地的空间特质，实现了虞城蓓蕾、城市园林的设计理念，在满足建筑功能需求的同时，也活跃了广场的活动空间，成为了市民广场的景观，景观建筑化、建筑景观化是这一布局的又一特征。建筑形式采用了传统建筑尤其是江南园林建筑的精华要素，结合现代建筑的语言，表达了常熟所具有的深厚历史文化积淀以及时代感。建筑意向契合了地段城市空间开放、宽阔的特质。

Jiangnan Culture/Art Center lies in the east of downtown Changshu City, Jiangsu Province. In terms of environmental design, due consideration is given to the spatial features of the project, which is in the green coverage of the city, and realizes the designing concept of Yucheng Budding and Urban Park. While realizing architectural functions and activating the space of the square, the project also becomes a sight in the civil square. Architectural sights and scenic architectures are another feature of this plan. In terms of architectural form, traditional examples are followed, especially the essence of garden/park architectures in South China. In combination with modern architectural language, the history, culture, and modernity of Changshu City are expressed. The idea of the architecture matches the open and spacious qualities of the location in the city.
